Case study

Together with designers, UX specialists and developers, we developed a new web page for the Red Cross branch in Rzeszów. Creating a website for the Polish Red Cross was a great opportunity to positively impact the region. The Red Cross is a well-known humanitarian organization that provides blood donation services, supports vulnerable communities, and actively works with refugees from Ukraine in the Lower Carpathians region.

The Lower Carpathians Red Cross website will allow the organization to reach a wider audience, increase awareness of its mission and programs, and provide a platform for raising funds and recruiting volunteers. The main idea was to restore the website and make it convenient, visually attractive and easy to use. The priority also was to develop a page with accessibility so that all users, including those with disabilities, can access and use its functions.

Collaboration development

Data security is our speciality

We’ve been working on the Talk To Loop project together since 2020. Sonder Collective was responsible for the design and UX Design of the platform, which of course is consistent with the whole visual identity. We as Elite Crew were in charge of the implementation, security of the web application same as provided data, and the final QA part. Our specialists were involved in the project since the very beginning to help untangle complexity, advise designers on feasibility, and achieve an optimum user experience. Data security is our speciality. We built Talk To Loop to the highest standards of data privacy.

To learn more about what we did in this project, see the Talk To Loop case study.

Sharing our knowledge in transparency

In 2022, we started working on the next project which was the Pathways project. Once again, Sonder Collective as a Product Owner was responsible for the design and UX Design part, and we then successfully implemented the design. We were involved in the early stages of the project to share our knowledge and experience. During the whole process, we closely collaborated with designers to make sure we understand each other in terms of proper design and further implementation.

Project development

01

During the first stage of the project, we conducted UI analysis. As an example, we selected pages of the Polish Red Cross and other regional centers. Based on this analysis, a structure was created using good UX practices. Ready documentation and mockups of the future website were prepared in Figma.

Based on this analysis, a structure was created using good UX practices. Ready documentation and mockups of the future website were prepared in Figma.

02

In the second stage, we worked on design development. The primary purpose of the design was to create a website comfortable for any group of users. The main requirement was also the similarity with the page of the Polish Red Cross. The whole process was based on the structure created at the first stage and implemented in Figma.

03

The third stage was implementation. The whole process was done on WordPress. To create a unique product, we have adopted a creative approach. Customs solution in implementation of social services, interactive map and validation of the form. The website was integrated with the CMS system, which allows the administrator to easily change and update content on the page.

04

In this stage, we prepared a manual for using the CMS system and transferring the website project to the domain.

05

Thanks to the fact that the previous stages of creating the website were quick and successful, the client came back to us with a request to extend the website with new functionalities. At this stage, our task was to integrate the website with WooCommerce. Hubert, the WordPress Developer, created a store profile for ticket sales, connected the store to the PayU payment gateway, and integrated various payment methods. The home page was updated to include an interactive banner and information about upcoming events. We provided full support for handling the first transactions.

WooCommerce, or how to create a full-fledged online store from a "simple" CMS
The title indicates the incompleteness of this CMS if we are talking about a pure instance without any integrations. WooCommerce is an extension of WordPress, which takes this seemingly simple platform to the next level.

I have known Marek and his team for a few years over two companies I‘ve worked for. I must say it has been the most pleasant and successful agency collaboration I have experienced so far. Loop is a new Start Up Charity and has been working instep with Marek and his team at Elite Crew since we started. Not only am I satisfied with the end product which you can see at Talk To Loop but I am also impressed with the close and collaborative working relationship we have to problem solve, ideate, prioritise work together as well as, and just as importantly, the relationship they have with our different country partnerships. Working closely with local staff in different contexts to ensure they have what is needed to run the tool effectively and to integrate it into the local systems and approaches.

Working with EliteCrew suited our complex project set up very well. Insights from the project

During the implementation of the project, I act as a backend developer. Working on the project allowed me to expand my knowledge due to the fact that we use tools with which I had little contact so far. I believe that the described project is of great value because it serves people who really need this help.

Krzysztof Kura

Back-End Developer

This is the first in my entirely carrier so innovative initiative, that engage so many, so different to each other disciplines to explore social, cultural and environmental risk factors impacting Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition (RMNCH+N).It combines research done across Northern Nigeria, Kenya and Bihar, India to further expertise analyses of researched data to in final step exposed ready to use results via web platform to global health practitioners to stratify households based on social, economic, cultural and environmental vulnerability factors that are associated with poor health outcomes.

Marek Wrzosowski

CEO

I deal with the development of the application on the backend layer. The implementation of solutions in the discussed application is invariably a big challenge for me. The fact that the introduced functionalities really help many people and organizations scattered all over the world gives additional satisfaction from the work performed. I am proud to say that I am working on an application that gives opportunities that I have not encountered in other applications. For example, our solutions can be used freely by users who cannot read and write.

Krzysztof Kura

Back-End Developer

Loop as a platform that I had to test was a huge challenge in terms of the functionalities used. In this application, we can make many combinations that we do not even know about, each time this application surprises me, very often it finds errors, for example from translations to usually search fields, with IVRR I had the pleasure to work from the very beginning, I spent many hours during testing the application itself in terms of functionality and design in Inbox and Outbox. Additionally, testing the scheduler for an automatic option that calls back the user when they cannot answer it was quite a challenge, and so far it is. Social bots are also nice to remember. A lot happened before the defects were removed from the flow. What I can say is that the platform is quite large and the application is constantly developing :))
